Like many with a long-time connection to Steamboat Springs, Sash Firstenberg knows the reality of the Yampa Valley Curse. Having spent every winter and summer vacationing here with her family, she couldn’t help but dream of life in this picturesque town. Following graduation from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, after having played four years of college soccer there, she seized the opportunity to turn the dream of living in Steamboat Springs into reality. In 2017, Sash made the move and continues to fall head over heels, (again and again,) with its charm.

A heart that races on mountain biking trails; the solace found in camping; cherished moments spent with her loyal border collie, Rowan- Sash shares in the passions that many in this valley live for. This diverse background provides her with a unique understanding of community, lifestyle, and the essence of what makes a place truly home.
