Eris is a native Washingtonian, having grown up in Potomac, Maryland and graduating from Thomas S. Wootton High School. She's very familiar with the entire region having lived in Virginia: Reston, where her daughter was born and in McLean; as well as Maryland, having resided in Olney, Silver Spring and Gaithersburg. When purchasing her first home, it was difficult to decide on which state, as Eris and her family were very happy in both! Ultimately, Eris and her husband have decided to raise their family in Potomac, Maryland.

Real estate is in her family's blood, on both her and her husband's sides. Her in-laws founded and owned the recognized firm of Legum & Norman, and her stepmother is also a realtor. Real estate became her passion when she purchased her first home in 2002, Eris enjoyed the entire process. From searching for a home, considering the advantages and disadvantages of each property, to making the best deal and then renovating and decorating the home to make it her own. This strong family history in real estate, and her desire to ensure her clients are treated like family see Eris putting her client first, keeping them informed every step of the way, and working diligently on their behalf to ensure the home buying or selling process is streamlined and smooth.

Eris and her husband own a local business, Norman’s Farm Market. For over 30 years, they’ve served the DC Metro Area growing produce at their 60-acre farm in Woodbine, Maryland in Howard County. They sustainably grow fruits and vegetables to sell at four roadside markets and through a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program. She and her husband love providing fresh food to their customers, and getting to know so many of them on a personal level.

Eris and her husband are raising their two children in Potomac. Their oldest is at Tulane University in New Orleans, studying psychology. The younger child is in high school and a baseball player.
