Vera Meixner

At Douglas Elliman, Vera Meixner operates as head of the global buying liaison department and a high-volume sales associate. In her various roles, Ms. Meixner works out of offices in both New York and Miami Beach, satisfying the various residential and commercial needs of her local clientele under the auspices of the Bill and Bryan team, and using her command of the German language to connect and work with Knight Frank offices overseas. Additionally, Vera is part of the the Sports and Entertainment division of Douglas Elliman, catering to the real estate preferences of an elite group of athletes and high-profile actors, directors and producers in the television and movie industry.
Vera's wide array of duties, including reviewing European market transactions, assisting clients in making sound property-purchasing decisions, analyzing trends, addressing a vast spectrum of client concerns, conducting negotiations and surveys, working with legal counsel, preparing proposals, maintaining up-to-date policy documents, and developing and implementing strategies to ensure that properties retain and increase in value. With her strong background in law, business, management and marketing, both academically and in the field, Vera is the consummate professional when it comes to making sure that her clients' needs are well served.

Born in Austria, and before entering the world of real estate service and sales, Vera was a world class golfer who played for the Austrian national team. She majored in tourism and management at the university in Salzburg, modeled for respected magazines, and attained a law degree at Johannes Kepler University in Linz.

In her spare time, Vera lends her help to various charities, volunteers at the Miami Children's Hospital, plays golf and tennis, and loves to travel.
